Product Description

The Black Ice 45 is a minimalist, lightweight roll-top backpack that meets the needs of modern alpinists and high-altitude climbers. Extensively field-tested features, combined with a clean and simple design, make this backpack the perfect companion for alpine and expedition use.

The updated Black Ice provides an even cleaner look than our previous model. The high-quality, waterproof ripstop nylon protects against moisture with a water column of 10,000 mm. Minimal daisy chains offer a variety of attachment options, and a new arrangement of ice axe loops facilitate ice tool attachment. A zippered outer pocket and an internal pocket provide convenient storage for smaller items.

The pack suspension system is minimalist and uncluttered. A removable foam board provides additional padding, and can also be used as a seat on uncomfortable terrain. The slim shape and body-hugging fit provide an excellent load transfer and a removable hip belt offers more support while carrying.
