Product Description

The Ceres lll XP Extreme tunnel tent was designed for two people with a lot of equipment and offers ideal protection in the most adverse conditions. The robust materials and practical, winter-specific features make it the ideal companion for demanding tours in arctic climate zones.

The tunnel tent construction with four sturdy pole arches can withstand even extremely strong winds and storms. This is also ensured by the even thicker, extra-strong guylines that can be operated with gloves. Extra loops at the ends also make it possible to tie down with skis. The new pole shoes, designed for two sets of poles, provide additional stability. The option of two pole arches ensures even more safety, even in almost apocalyptic conditions. The outer tent is finished in eye-catching Dark Lava, making it highly visible even in poor visibility during a snowstorm. The snow flaps around the tent are buried in the snow and thus protect against drifting snow and wind inside. Marked pole center: The “Middle Marker” feature developed by EXPED (pat. Pend.) marks the middle of the tent poles with a different-colored segment. This means that the poles can be folded twice as quickly from this point, and it also extends the service life of the rubber cord inside.

The Ceres impresses with its generous amount of space and two opposing entrances. This means that one of them is always facing away from the wind. The two vestibules offer plenty of space for equipment as well as for cooking. The snow ditch flap attached to the inner tent ensures that no snow gets into the inner tent. Several fastening options and pockets ensure better organization inside. The scope of delivery includes 22 high-quality pegs for optimum stability.
